It is common practice in the United States to have your teeth corrected or straightened, and it is not hard to understand why – because there are so many benefits to having straight teeth. Contact us today to schedule a consultation where you can have an evaluation done and begin to discuss and consider your options for teeth straightening treatment.

Improved Chewing
Digesting food properly can affect your entire body and chewing food effectively before it enters your digestive system is the first step. Teeth that aren’t aligned properly may make it more difficult to properly chew food and make the digestive system have to work harder and not function as effectively as possible. Braces, or another tooth straightening method, may have a positive impact on your, or your child’s, digestive system, improving overall health.
Confidence of a Great Smile
It may sound like vanity but having a smile that you are happy with can bring a confidence to your entire being that is hard to fully explain. And true, inner confidence can have a huge impact on your life and choices that you make that affect your life. Having confidence could have a positive effect on your life that you didn’t even expect. As well as for a child, you could be helping to improve their confidence and outlook on life if you choose to have their teeth corrected and an improved smile.
Improved Talking or Speech
Although improving speech is not typically the main reason people use orthodontic care, you may be surprised to know that there are benefits for improved speech. Some type of speech issue is not uncommon for children, and they may simply outgrow it. But some speech issues can be linked to out of place teeth. If that is the case for you or your child, you may benefit from having your teeth straightened with braces or another similar method. There can be great positive side-effects of teeth straightening, and improved speech is one of them, especially for patients who are currently experiencing speech issues.

I currently have three kids going through braces here! The staff is so friendly and helpful, especially with changes in insurance. They are mindful of each patient…who is fearful, etc and talk them through each new phase. We have been so happy here!

Going to rate 5 stars since John and the back-of-house staff are excellent; kind, professional, and skilled. Unfortunately, the front desk are not quite up to par. When I called about retainer removal, I was told about a fee that wasn’t accurate/true, and when I asked for clarity, I was met with dismissive responses like “we can talk about it when you get here,” despite the fact I live over an hour away. On arrival, I wasn’t greeted and was instead cut off with “you’re checked in” before I could speak. The hostility from the receptionists was obvious and unprofessional, which overshadows the otherwise great clinical team.

I came to Dr. Redmond a little over half way through my 4- year braces journey. As soon as I stepped through the doors, He and his team welcomed me in with excellence and enthusiasm. I cannot speak highly enough of the incredible amount of detail and dedication Dr. Redmond puts into ensuring each of his patients leave his doors looking and feeling confident with their smile. Not only is Dr. Redmond is a master at his craft, he is an incredibly likable and down to earth person. His exemplary attitude, work ethic, and leadership are reflected in each one of the wonderful dental assistant/staff. The office is pristine, with every single detail you can think of taken care of! From upbeat music to refreshments upon walk in, John Redmond Orthodontics is the best of the best! The staff is organized, professional, and absolutely the kindest people ever! A big thank you to each of them for providing such thoughtful and thorough care. After finishing my treatment, I can surely say I have never been more confident in my smile!
