At the heart of our practice is the belief that orthodontic treatment should be accessible, comfortable, and worth every step of the process.

Our team is small enough that you’ll see familiar faces at every appointment, but experienced enough to handle a wide range of cases, from minor alignment issues to more complex bite and jaw and airway concerns. We don’t believe in rushing treatment or overpromising results. What we do believe in is being straight with our patients, keeping them informed, and making sure the end result is something they’re genuinely proud of.

Meet Dr. John Redmond

Dr. M. John Redmond earned his orthodontic training at the University of Southern California, where he completed both a Master of Science in Craniofacial Biology and his Certificate in Orthodontics, following an honors graduation from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. He’s an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, and several other professional organizations that keep him connected to the latest developments in the field.

The Technology We Use

Good outcomes start with good information, and we’ve invested in technology that gives us both. Every tool we use is chosen with one goal in mind: better, more comfortable treatment for our patients.

Our office uses the iTero digital scanner to map your teeth, bite, and jaw before treatment begins. Traditional impressions involved physical molds that were messy, slow, and often imprecise. iTero replaces all of that with a fast, highly accurate 3D digital scan. The result is a cleaner experience for you and a more reliable foundation for your treatment plan, particularly for patients starting Invisalign or expander treatment.

In addition to digital scanning, we use CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) imaging to capture detailed 3D views of your teeth, jaw, and airway. This gives Dr. Redmond a complete picture of what’s happening beneath the surface, including root positions, jaw structure, and airway space, so treatment planning is based on real anatomy rather than guesswork. It’s especially valuable for patients with complex bite issues, impacted teeth, or airway concerns, and it means fewer surprises once treatment is underway.

We also offer Synapse Dental Pain Erasure to keep appointments as comfortable as possible. Using targeted laser technology, it helps ease soreness from new aligners, irritation from braces, or general discomfort during treatment, quickly and without medication. It’s one more way we try to make every visit feel easier, especially for younger patients or anyone who’s a bit anxious about orthodontic care.

  Going to rate 5 stars since John and the back-of-house staff are excellent; kind, professional, and skilled. Unfortunately, the front desk are not quite up to par. When I called about retainer removal, I was told about a fee that wasn’t accurate/true, and when I asked for clarity, I was met with dismissive responses like “we can talk about it when you get here,” despite the fact I live over an hour away. On arrival, I wasn’t greeted and was instead cut off with “you’re checked in” before I could speak. The hostility from the receptionists was obvious and unprofessional, which overshadows the otherwise great clinical team.
